I have a beautiful view of our pumpkin patch from my desk, and there are oodles of pumpkins out there, which is good, because something tells me we'll be busy this weekend :-) Please be aware...last weekend we had to close the farm gate because we were too busy. This is almost certain to happen again this weekend, so if you see our gate closed please come back later, we'll re-open as soon as there's enough room in our parking lot. If you can, come early in the morning, the patch opens at 8:00, our farm store opens as usual at 9:00. As for next week, I'm kind of hoping we'll be sold out, then again I'm hoping we're not that busy over Thanksgiving! Of course, this all depends on Mother Nature, if it rains all weekend, ignore all of the above! The masterpieces are displayed throughout the farm, and you can find some unique characters such as the COVID pumpkin. This is the last weekend that the farm will be open, so it's time to start planning your visit. Admission is free, and the venue suggests coming early as it can get busy on weekends. Visit an exotic pumpkin wonderland this weekend before it closes for the season. Hutchinson Farm Price: Free admission When: October 17 and 18, 2020 Address: 6202 Walkers Ln., Burlington, ON Why You Need To Go: Find all sorts of rare squash and enjoy some painted pumpkins at this charming farm. Thanks Ricardo for another masterpiece. btw, we expect to be very busy at times this pumpkin season, and no, we do not charge for admission or parking, just our pumpkins :-) May we suggest: 1) Come during the week 2) Come in the morning, our patch opens at 8:00, and you may have the farm to yourself (our store staff won't be able to do any sales until 9:00). 3) Weekend afternoons...we expect we're going to have to close our gate for a while when it gets too busy, and we'll re-open once there are more spaces in our parking lot. Walker's Line is too busy and narrow for parking on the side, btw, please come back later!
