Not only is it a relatively close distance to the city, it has fun activities, other treats to buy and great photo ops. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🎃 Miller’s Farm and Market has; a corn field maze, garden & produce centre, tractor wagon rides (with a wall/barrier this year for distancing), pumpkin fields & pre-picked options, bonfires, hay bales and play structures for kids, and flowers and wooden decor for purchase. This pumpkin hut is the coveted spot for photos - remember to keep your distance while waiting & be quick to avoid a crowd. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🎃 @millersfarmandmarket is also open daily, from 8am - 5pm. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome. Note, it is a popular spot, and that means lots of people! It is not mandatory to wear your mask but I strongly suggest it, I kept mine on except when I was far from others (in this hut, only for photos then mask back on). A good idea is also a backup plan, luckily @abby_hill_farms is very close by! We happened to run into friends later that day in Manotick who filled their trunk with pumpkins from Abby Hill while we were at Miller’s. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #pumpkinpatchfun #millersfarm #ottawafarms #fallinottawa #ottawaactivities #ottawaadventures #ontariofarms #goodthingsgrowinontario #pumpkinseason #pumpkinpatchphotoshoot #manotickvillage #manotick #ottawasouth #ottawacity #ottawacanada #igersottawa #ottawatourism #ottawafeatures #imagesofottawa #apt613 #ottawasworld #localottawa #613ottawa #ottawastyle #pumpkinfarm #pumpkindecor A post shared by Megan | Ottawa Lifestyle Blog (@ottawariverlifestyle) on Oct 9, 2020 at 5:57am PDT\nThe farm told Narcity that Ron Miller built the tiny house after his wife requested it approximately five years ago.\nThis autumn, you can visit daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Saturday, October 31.\nWhen here, you'll have an extraordinary time, as you can get lost in the corn maze, relax on a classic wagon ride, or pick up a pie to bring home.\nPlus, it is cheap to go as admission to the farm free, and activities like the corn maze and wagon ride have an under $5 fee.\nIt is time to scratch some fall activities off your bucket list.\nMillers’ Farm & Market\nPrice: Free admission\nAddress: 6158 Rideau Valley Dr. N., Manotick, ON\nWhy You Need To Go: The best time to go is on weekends, as then you can treat yourself to fall-favourites like candy apples and hot cider.\nWebsite\n\n\nBefore you get going, check our Responsible Travel Guide so you can be informed, be safe, be smart, and most of all, be respectful on your trip.
