One must-do summer activity is strolling through a field of lavender. When they are in bloom in June through July, you can walk through a dreamy field of sweet-smelling purple flowers. Not only is it a fantastic photo opportunity, but the smell of the blooms are super relaxing too! For the ultimate lavender field experience, you won't want to miss the lavender festival in Prince Edward County, Ontario this summer. The lavender festival will take place at Prince Edward County Lavender on July 6-7, and July 13-14, 2019, from 10 am to 5 pm. So this July, it will take place over two weekends instead of just one! At the lavender festival, there will be plenty to see and do. There will be live bands, cute animals to see at the petting zoo, demonstrations on making lavender essential oil, and plenty of food vendors too! Plus, they will be giving out prizes, and one lucky winner can get the top prize of a two-night stay at the Prince Edward County Lavender BnB.
