The Edmonton Oilers have officially announced that Connor McDavid has tested positive for COVD-19. \nOn Monday, October 5, the Edmonton Oilers released a Facebook post stating that the captain of the team underwent medical testing. \nThe results confirmed that the well known NHL player tested positive for COVID-19. \nEditor's Choice: Edmonton Has Nearly 900 COVID-19 Cases & The Province Might Impose 'Additional Measures'\n\n\n“\n\n\nHe is feeling well and is experiencing mild symptoms \n\n\nEdmonton Oilers\n\n\n\nSince receiving his test results, McDavid has been in voluntary self-quarantine at his home, said the post. \nThe Oilers have stated that he'll continue to be monitored and will follow all health protocols.\nHundreds of fans have been commenting on the Facebook post wishing McDavid a speedy recovery. \nIn addition to McDavid, an Ottawa Senators player was the first player to test positive back in March of this year.\nAccording to CBC News, the NHL stopped releasing the names of team members impacted by COVID-19.
