It’s hard to imagine going to a Toronto Blue Jays game these days without seeing a few cameo appearances from its J FORCE. The team’s cheerleading unit is always there to inject some much-needed energy into the crowd, and now you can too! That’s right, everyone’s famous squad is officially hiring for the team’s 2020 season.\nAccording to the hiring website, the J FORCE is considered as an "integral part of the in-game entertainment experience at every Blue Jays home game."\n"They execute on-camera giveaways, entertain and engage the crowd in the stands, meet with fans during games on the concourse and at Blue Jays' events, and get the opportunity to work within the community,” a description on the Blue Jays website reads.\n“We are looking for individuals who are energetic, athletic, and comfortable in front of large crowds. Candidates must also be able to work effectively in a team environment, have exceptional communication skills, and must be knowledgeable about our team and the game of baseball,” the description adds.\nSo, what is the requirement to audition? Thankfully, the job doesn’t require you to have eight years in jazz-tap to audition.\nAll that is needed is that you are at least 19 years old and are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nHaving some training in dance, gymnastics, or other performance mediums is obviously helpful, but that experience isn’t needed to audition.\nToronto Blue Jays | Handout\nIt's worth noting that all J FORCE members must be willing to work all 81 home games of the 2020 baseball season.\nYou will also need to be open to working during the postseason and any additional promotional or themed event.\nThe @BlueJays J FORCE is in the house - and want YOU to apply to be on the team!
