Playing video games is a hugely popular activity, we all know that. Many a student has been criticized for wasting time on game consoles, and it's even been argued excessive use can lead to a lack of sleep or detachment from the world around us. But now, one leading developer is offering the chance to get paid to play video games.\nRenowned game company Ubisoft, which is behind hugely popular games such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and the Tom Clancy series, is looking for people in Toronto to participate in "playtests" for some of the new games it's developing.\nAnyone selected for the playtest will play these games over the course of anywhere from a few hours to a few days at the company's office in Toronto.\nAccording to the company's FAQ section, rewards will depend on the length of the individual playtest. These rewards could include gift cards, games and even some extra cash in your pocket. No matter how much it is, playing videos games for money is a pretty sweet deal!\nProbably the best thing about this is you don't even have to be an avid gamer! Playtest participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement and agree to be video or audio recorded for research purposes.
