The RCMP are now hiring new police officers and not only is the salary $53,000, but you also get paid for all of your cadet training. Plus, the minimum education you need to apply is just your high-school diploma.\nAccording to the RCMP, they are currently looking for cadets to join the Academy to be trained for police officers throughout the nation. While the training program takes place in Regina, Saskatchewan, once hired, you can be working in a variety of locations across Canada.\nThe training program in Regina will be 26-weeks long, but while you are there all room and board will be covered.\nOn top of that, uniforms, courses, insurance, and travel to and from the training location will all be paid for. While free room and board during this training may seem like a pretty good deal, cadets will also get paid during their training, getting an allowance of $525 a week.\nOnce you've completed your cadet training and have been hired on as an RCMP officer, your salary will start at $53,114 and can increase up to $86,110 over time.\nSo, if law enforcement has been your dream job, this might be the career for you.\nCadets at the RCMP Academy receive paid training from their very first day. When it comes to education, you only need a high school education to qualify.\nHowever, there are a few more qualifications that you need to meet besides education.
