In a notice on Wednesday, the Prime Minister encouraged Canadians to check out his recommendations of available jobs in Canada. According to Trudeau, there are more than 44,000 available, and there are opportunities in so many different sectors!\nSince the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been difficult for some Canadians to find reliable, consistent work opportunities.\nHowever, as the economy begins to restart and the country begins to open up again, the Prime Minister is encouraging Canadians to think about rejoining the workforce or even consider changing careers.\nIn a tweet shared on May 26, Trudeau explained, “If you’re looking for work right now, there are thousands of jobs available in our agri-food sector and more than 44,000 openings in essential services.”\nSharing a link to the government’s job-hunting website, he added, “To see how you can contribute to Canada’s response to COVID-19, check out the Job Bank …”\nOpportunities range from retail and sales to truck driving, as well as jobs in law enforcement, communications and accounting.\nWith more than 72,000 listings across agriculture, essential services, work-from-home opportunities and “in demand” sectors, there’s bound to be something that suits your skills here.\nIf you’re looking for work right now, there are thousands of jobs available in our agri-food sector and more than 44,000 openings in essential services.
